For those of you into Chinese astrology, this is the year of the snake. Most people just want to know if that means it will be a good year or bad year.   The Chinese convert each animal in astrology into one of the five elements of the Earth.  The snake contains mainly fire and the year 2013 is water.  Therefore creating opposite elements meaning  a mix of good and bad fortune.   So a normal year for most folks.
