The fired Ohio State University marching band director says he was working to change a culture of hazing and inappropriate rituals among members when he was dismissed.
Membership and Programming
We’re in the final days of our December membership drive. Every time we go into a membership drive I always hear from viewers missing their favorite program. It’s encouraging to know how passionate viewers are about our programming. Four times a year we present special membership programming, which usually includes some audience favorites, like “Downton Abbey Revisited”.
These membership drives are so important to us here at WOSU TV. Your generous support during last year’s membership drives has allowed us to purchase some great new programs, we hope you’ll enjoy in the new year.
This coming Thursday, December 6 at 10pm WOSU TV air “Prince Philip at 90″. Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, is the longest serving consort in British history. He has been at Queen Elizabeth’s side for nearly 60 years. Over those decades he has worked with more than 800 organizations, and has been a champion of the environmental movement since its earliest days. This wonderful program celebrates the prince’s life as he approached his landmark 90th birthday in June 2011. It also gives us an insight into a a member of the royal family we don’t often hear much about.
This new program on Prince Philip begins a series of documentaries, airing every Thursday night at 10pm on WOSU TV, profiling various members of the royal family. We’re able to air every one of these shows on the royal family because of your support. Without your generosity we would not have been able to purchase these programs for you to now enjoy. So let me say,as you so often hear at the beginning and end of almost every program on WOSU, thank you.
