Clinton on American Experience
If you follow my blog you know that I’m a huge fan of “American Experience”. I’m rarely disappointed by an “American Experience” program and if you watched any of the wild west themed programs we aired in January you’ll know what I mean. There is one continuing series “American Experience” has been doing for years now that is my all time favorite and that’s “The President’s” series. I was very excited when I heard last spring that “American Experience” was adding a new addition to “The President’s”. This time it’s all about former President Bill Clinton.
I think there are several President’s throughout history that most Americans have some kind of opinion on. I recently visited Walt Disney World and saw the presentation in The Hall of Presidents. When they get to that part of the show where every President is introduced, some of the gentlemen get more of a reaction than others and then there’s that group in the middle no one ever remembers. Bill Clinton is one of those names that solicits some type of reaction.
“Clinton: American Experience” will explore his childhood in Arkansas through the end of one of the most tumultuous presidency’s in modern history. From the highest of successes to the scandal of the day, this program gives the viewers unprecedented access to Clinton insiders. It airs over two nights so if you’re able to catch-all of the program be sure to set your DVR or watch one of the encore presentations.
“Clinton: American Experience” part one airs Monday, February 20 at 9:00pm on WOSU TV, part two airs Tuesday, February 21 at 8:00pm on WOSU TV. Encore presentations can be seen on Tuesday, February 21 and Wednesday, February 22 on WOSU PLUS. Parts one and two can be seen on Sunday, February 26 beginning at 3:00pm on WOSU TV.
