Foreclosures during the Great Recession added to thousands of blighted properties in Columbus. But, a state program helped fund demolition of many of those houses and apartment units.
This Sunday MASTERPIECE MYSTERY introduces us to a new detective. His name is Aurelio Zen, a Roman police detective from Venice, where “Zen” is the local shortening of the name Zeno. The series although set in modern-day Italy has a real 60′s crime show feel to it.
Masterpiece Mystery: Zen, airs 9pm Sunday, July 17 on WOSU TV.
Rufus Sewell, who you may remember from “The Eleventh Hour”, stars as Zen. Separated from his wife and living with his mother, he is too involved in his job to think about romance until, you knew there had to be an until in there. There has to be some spice while crime fighting and Zen certainly gets his share.
I hope you find some time to check out Mystery’s newest detective Aurelio Zen. Tune in Sunday night at 9pm on WOSU TV or Monday night at 9pm on WOSU PLUS.
