Learn how Ellis, who was steeped in bluegrass, has written simple, memorable melodies for the banjo inspired by the Ohio countryside he loves. I have slowly realized that American traditional music is not only sweet and relaxing but is what, as a child growing up with Appalachian raised parents is truely my music. Loved the program. Thanks for documenting our history WOSU.
