In response to the recent Federal Communications Commission’s Public Notice regarding the upcoming Spectrum Auction, which will impact television broadcasters across the country, WOSU Public Media is posting the following statement from The Ohio State University, which owns our broadcast license.
We generally don’t like to brag as a station. Mostly, because we’re humble and stuff. But on a personal level, I love bragging about my co-workers. They are incredible people with incredible skills, and the upcoming Emmy awards are going to showcase their extreme talent.
Some of our more popular programming on WOSU TV are the British shows produced by the BBC. Until recently, these programs were only available for broadcast and could not be offered online.
