Reception Issues with National Parks impact some viewers

We’ve had some technical issues related to the broadcast of NATIONAL PARKS over the past two nights for over-the-air, DirecTV and Insight cable viewers. We certainly understand the frustration about the quality of the broadcast signal to those viewers and sincerely apologize for the disruption of your enjoyment of National Parks. There has been no issue with the signal for Time Warner and WOW cable viewers.

We have identified the problem (a faulty relay switch in our microwave transmitter), and we are confident that we will be able to get the issue corrected by tonight’s broadcast, so please tune in this evening!

In the meantime, last night’s episode ( the second in the series) will be broadcast tonight at 8pm on WOSU.PLUS: this channel offers a one-day delay of WOSU TV’s primetime schedule, but is not available on DirecTV or AT&T due to their decision not to carry additional channels from public television stations across the country.

    Thank you for updating your site with this information. I had a feeling it was a broadcast problem. I am a subscriber to AT&T. I missed alot of the first two episodes, but the third one was flawless. Even though I did miss much of the first two, I am estatic to hear that it will be re-broadcast in December. I will be sure to set my DVR to catch them. Thank you again and thank you for all of your team’s great work!
