Columbus is gearing up for one of the summer’s most exciting weekends — the Columbus Arts Festival. We here at WOSU Public Media are very excited to be a media sponsor and have a presence at the festival all weekend long.
Did you miss last night’s premiere of Columbus Neighborhoods: Tri-Village or just can’t get enough of the rich history and culture behind the Tri-Village neighborhoods? Well, you’re in luck! We are hosting two free Community Screenings this week in partnership with several local Tri-Village organizations. Each screening will be accompanied by a Q&A with the documentary’s producer, Diana Bergemann.
It’s becoming a bit of a tradition at our WOSU@COSI production offices to arrange potluck lunches to spice up the work week and give everyone the chance to catch-up with their co-workers. Many of our producers spend their days out in the field on shoots or hunkered down in an edit bay working on projects like Columbus Neighborhoods or Broad & High. With the temperatures dipping and winter upon us, we decided a Chili Potluck was in order.
Our WOSU@COSI Studio and Event Space was home to TedxYouth@Columbus this past Saturday where both the audience and presenters were made up of bright young minds from throughout the central Ohio community. The theme was “Surge Ahead” and the guest speakers offered their peers advice on how to break boundaries, pursue their dreams, and develop their own ideas that will inspire the world.
