A Delaware County Grand jury Thursday indicted 39 year old Matthew Rausenberg of Columbus on 32 counts alleging sex crimes against children in his classroom. First Assistant Prosecutor Kyle Rohrer outlined the charges saying Rausenberg faces life in prison, if convicted.
Dublin-based Cardinal Health says its Clinical and Medical Products unit will eliminate 1,300 jobs, with most of the cuts made during the next six months, as hospitals cut back on equipment purchases. Cardinal plans to spin the unit off later this year.
Ohio State Quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith is back on the practice field in Columbus. Earlier this week he brought a message of optimism to Glennville High School in Cleveland, his alma mater. Smith’s football career began at Glenville, where he graduated in 2002. Today he_s hailed there not only as the season’s best college player on the best college team, but as a favorite son who, with a lot of help and support, made the best of the options he had as a youth.
