New numbers released today by the Ohio Casino Control Commission show overall revenues dipped slightly from August to September.
September 11 remembrance services continue this afternoon across the country. To honor those lost that tragic day, Franklin County Commissioners held a flag raising ceremony this morning at the courthouse. WOSU was there and spoke with one woman who could have easily lost two family members that day.
Noted photographer Joel Meyerowitz was the only Press allowed free access to Ground Zero following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Meyerowitz took more than 8,000 photos of the nine month recovery and cleanup effort. He chose 30 of them for an exhibit called “Aftermath: Inside the Forbidden City”, which is traveling the world. The photos are now on display at Otterbein College’s Miller Gallery.
