The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says Patrick Hughes was arrested Wednesday night when he arrived at a location where he thought he was meeting a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy for sex.

Sheriff Zach Scott says the 56-year-old Hughes was arrested on charges of attempted rape and attempted unlawful sexual contact with a minor.

Hughes was an interim Priest at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral on North High Street at the time of his arrest.
