Two men were arrested during the search, one on counts of trafficking and and possession of K2, the other arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Nineteen pounds of the the drug K2, also called Spice, has a street value of nearly $21,000, according to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

The legislation passed earlier this year adds synthetic marijuana known as K2 or spice, and six synthetic derivatives of a chemical found in bath salts to the list of Schedule 1 controlled substances.

The designer drugs had been readily available in convenience stores and gas stations. Doctors blamed them for making some people psychotic and even leading to some deaths.
