The mother of a 1-year-old Maryland boy found dead in central Ohio has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.
It’s been a tumultuous year for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. It nearly went bankrupt; lost its popular conductor Junichi Hirokami; and musicians for a time refused salary and benefits concessions.
The conductor and music director of the Columbus Symphony has left the financially troubled orchestra. News that Junichi Hirokami would not return to the CSO podium came after the board of trustees received notice from Hirokami on Thursday.
