Business Filings Up In Ohio
From January through June of last year, just under 44,000 new business filings were recorded statewide. Nearly 47,000 were filed during the same six-month period this year.
The Ohio Secretary of State’s office says about 47,000 new businesses opened in Ohio in the first six months of 2012. That’s an increase of about 3,000 compared to 2011.
