Long-Time Stivers’ Aide Resigns
U.S. Congressman Steve Stivers’ office confirms Chief of Staff Adam Kuhn resigned Tuesday afternoon.
Stivers’ spokeswoman Courtney Whetstone said in an email the office is not commenting on Kuhn’s personal life.
In a statement to The Associated Press, Kuhn said he was the victim of an attack on Twitter from a woman with whom he had a personal relationship.
In the last week, the woman tweeted at least one photo of Kuhn’s penis to Stivers’ Twitter account.
“I realize and apologize that I had used poor judgment in my personal life regarding this relationship,” he said.
Kuhn is a long-time Stivers aide, rising to Chief of Staff last year. Legislative records indicate Kuhn made $130,000 in 2013.
