The Muskingum County Sheriff's Office says it appears the other boy pulled the trigger as the two were playing inside the house in the village about 15 miles north of Zanesville.

Authorities say an 11-year-old boy has been shot and killed while playing at his best friend’s house in the Muskingum County village of Frazeysburg.

A group of Ohio students will be travelling to Mississippi to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the historic Mississippi Freedom Summer. The Ohio Student Association will join other organizations next week as they work to preserve and strengthen voting rights in the country.
