Cooper Stadium was the long-time home of the Columbus Clippers until the team moved downtown to Huntington Park in 2009.

Since then, the Franklinton park has sat mostly empty, and work recently began to repurpose the stadium into a racetrack.

For WOSU’s sports podcast “After the Score,” Thomas Bradley and I looked back at the park’s rich history with a familiar voice: long-time public radio reporter and Clippers fan Bill Cohen.
