Columbus Public Health officials today confirm an outbreak of mumps on Ohio State University’s campus. Spokesman Jose Rodriquez says his department is just learning of a cluster of seven cases of mumps on campus.

“Most cases of mumps should be prevented because people normally would have been vaccinated so in this case we could be are looking at potentially a small outbreak,” says Rodriquez

City and university Health officials are questioning the sickened students to determine how the disease might spread.
