Vendors are hawking beer and peanuts, grounds crews are chalking the baselines, and everyone is a contender.

That means spring training is underway.

Last year, for the first time in 18 seasons, the Reds and Indians made the playoffs in the same season. Both teams lost in the wild card game, but expectations remain high for 2014.
