It’s official.

Ohio will have a Democratic primary in the governor’s race.

Signatures collected by Democrats Larry Ealy and Ken Gray have been certified by the Secretary of State’s office allowing the pair to challenge Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald and his running mate Sharen Neuhardt.

The winner face Republican incumbents Govenor John Kasich and Lt. Governor Mary Taylor in November.
