Kasich-Taylor Campaign Files For Republican Primary Spot
The Kasich-Taylor for Ohio campaign filed its petitions today for an official spot in the Republican primary for governor. Representatives of the Kasich-Taylor campaign delivered about 3,000 signatures from Republicans in each of Ohio’s 88 counties to the Secretary of State’s office.
Ohio law requires each candidate for governor and lieutenant governor to submit to a declaration of candidacy, along with at least 1,000 valid signatures, at least 90 days before the scheduled primary election to appear on the primary ballot. The 2014 Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, May 6.
