A Second Water Leak Flows On Downtown Streets
As workers repair a water main break at Gay and Fourth Streets, another downtown leak is reported at Main and High. Officials say this one is not as large as the one Monday night that turned parts of downtown into a river.
It’s estimated the first leak will be repaired and water restored by 5 today. It’s not known if the cold weather is to blame.
Two north bound lanes on 4th St. have been re-opened to through traffic.
The boil water alert continues until further notice.
