Median Income For Columbus Households By Neighborhood
Every neighborhood has its stereotypes, and a lot of them are based on income. Everyone wants to know what their neighbors are making.
Well, using census data, WNYC has mapped out median income by area for the entire United States.
You can zoom into specific neighborhoods, general areas, suburban Columbus, urban Columbus. All the information is based on U.S. Census tract data.
In Columbus, the results could surprise you. Click around on the map below to see more.
The area in the Columbus community with the highest median income is in Upper Arlington, in between Lane Avenue and Trabue Road, while the lowest household income is in the Scioto Peninsula. While these facts may not come as a surprise, other neighborhoods out there may surprise you.
