Indiana-based artist Tasha Lewis transforms the Conservatory’s gallery with thousands of magnetic cyanotype butterflies printed on cotton fabric. Her blue butterflies hover in mid-air and seem to swarm the space, blurring the connection between the natural and artificial worlds.
Ohio State Presidential Search Not Near Conclusion
Listen to the Story
A group searching for the next president of Ohio State University continues to do its work behind closed doors.
Members of OSU’s search committee are evaluating candidates, some who are current university presidents, others who hold different university positions. And according to Chairman Jeff Wadsworth they have also examined non-traditional candidates.
Wadsworth says the size of the university makes the search more difficult.
“It’s big and complicated and that’s what’s exciting about it. So we’re looking for somebody who is excited about complexity, has dealt with complexity, understands complexity and wants to take Ohio State to the next level of academic excellence,” says Wadsworth.
Some candidates are being invited to visit the OSU campus. Wadsworth says search committee meetings will be held as needed. The group was established in July after Gordon Gee retired.
