Reynoldsburg Police Say Teen Confessed To Killing Young Woman
Reynoldsburg Police identify the suspect in the killing of a teenager as 17 year old Adrian McGee of Blacklick. They say he admitted to killing the teenage woman whose body was found near a high school.
Police Chief Jim O’Neill said at a press conference Tuesday that the teen “confessed to taking an active role in her death.” McGee was arraigned this afternoon in Licking County.
The slain body of Danielle Michaels was found Monday afternoon by a man walking his dog in a field near Reynoldsburg High School’s Summit campus. Officials canceled classes at the school Tuesday.
Officials haven’t said how she died. Reynoldsburg police explain that the suspect knew the victim and they had spent some time together.
Police say Michaels took online high school classes and did not attend Reynoldsburg High School.
