Ohioans Face Monday Deadline To Register For Nov. Election
The deadline for Ohio voters to register for the November election has arrived.
Monday marks the registration deadline for the Nov. 5 general election.
Mayoral races in several major cities are among a variety of campaigns being waged for local offices around Ohio. The secretary of state’s office says there will be more than 1,600 local issues on ballots around Ohio, including 195 school issues.
Columbus City Schools is asking voters for more tax dollars, and a series of reforms proposed amid the still-ongoing attendance rigging scandal.
The window for absentee voting already has begun. Absentee ballots can be requested by mail until Nov. 2. Registered voters in Ohio can cast an absentee ballot early by mail or in person without giving any specific reason.
