A Delaware County Grand jury Thursday indicted 39 year old Matthew Rausenberg of Columbus on 32 counts alleging sex crimes against children in his classroom. First Assistant Prosecutor Kyle Rohrer outlined the charges saying Rausenberg faces life in prison, if convicted.
Ohio State Completes Presidential Job Description
The newly released job description for the next leader of Ohio State University says candidates should have a record of significant fundraising.
The presidential profile created by a university search committee also says understanding of an academic medical center and top NCAA athletic programs is desirable.
The profile released Wednesday says the candidate must be able to articulate a vision consistent with the university’s strengths and be able to lead a complex institution.
Ohio State is seeking a replacement for former president Gordon Gee, who retired in July after remarks he made jabbing Roman Catholics and Southeastern Conference schools were made public.
University trustees and a headhunting firm have begun compiling a list of possible candidates. A decision is expected early next year.
