Federal health officials say the bacteria that have killed two people and sickened another 32 at a Reynoldsburg retirement community are present in the water system.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notified county health officials yesterday about test results from the Wesley Ridge retirement community.

The outbreak of Legionnaire’s Disease affected at least four visitors, one employee, and 23 residents.

It’s still not clear where the problem originated. An investigation is ongoing.
