A state initiative to prevent falls by older Ohioans is aiming to warn shoppers of all ages what to look for and how to avoid falling hazards amid holiday shopping.
Columbus Superintendent Pushing Out Employees
The interim chief of Columbus City Schools says he’s trying to fire or force out employees implicated in an attendance data rigging scandal.
Dan Good, interim superintendent of Columbus city schools, says officials are taking steps to get rid of those involved in data “scrubbing” designed to improve the schools’ academic standing.
Good says changes are expected even before the new school year begins Aug. 21.
There has been no action yet against as many as 30 employees found by an internal auditor to have manipulated student data. District officials also haven’t admitted that anything happened.
On Friday, a fourth administrator tied to the scandal retired or left the district voluntarily.
