Columbus Residents To Protest Zimmerman Acquittal
Columbus has been added to the list of cities hosting protests over the acquittal of George Zimmerman.
The rallies are backed by Rev. Al Sharpton and are scheduled for more than 100 American cities on Saturday.
An exact time and location for the event has not been released.
Zimmerman was acquitted last weekend in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, a black teenager who was unarmed. Zimmerman successfully argued he shot Martin in self-defense.
