Holiday moods often run the gamut between joy and melancholy. And, an Ohio State University researcher says an individual’s great expectations have a bearing on whether someone smiles or frowns. College of Social Work Professor, Gilbert Greene, says the key is to identify whether stress is likely to help or hurt one’s mood.
Police Look For Teen Accused Of Attacking Social Worker
Franklin County Children Services is looking for a 16-year-old girl who they say attacked a social services worker and fled in her personal vehicle.
A release from the agency says Chiann Morrow was being transported to a placement facility in Franklinton when the incident occurred. Officials say the vehicle was stopped at a red light on W. Mound Street when Morrow came over the backseat of the car and attacked the worker.
The agency says an 18-year-old man who came to the woman’s aid was dragged 30 feet by the car and suffered multiple injuries. He and the social services worker were treated and released from local hospitals.
