Ron Freeland, 47, a Columbus business analyst who lives in Clintonville, ran his third Boston Marathon Monday.
Freeland joined WOSU’s Marilyn Smith to talk about the scene. Freeland, a veteran marathoner, said security hasn’t been at the forefront of his thoughts at races. Freeland had already finished the race when the explosives detonated.
