State lawmakers seem to be at an impasse on Governor John Kasichâ€™s proposal for major cuts in the state income tax and a major broadening of the sales tax to dozens of services.
Itâ€™s billed as a $1.4 billion tax cut over three years, but two major business groups still donâ€™t like the sales tax part, and Republicans who control the Ohio House of Representatives are also balking at the idea.
