Veteran journalist Carl Hoffman believes he’s solved one of the great mysteries of the 20th century. In 1961 at the age of 23, Michael Rockefeller – son of New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller and a member of one of the richest and most powerful families in America ¬– travelled to remote New Guinea in search of primitive art for his father’s new museum.
The Dispatch To Shut Down The Other Paper
The Dispatch Publishing Group is shutting down production of The Other Paper. Once Columbus’s only alternative weekly, the Dispatch bought The Other Paper in 2011 from American Community Newspapers.
The Dispatch will continue to publish its weekly magazine – Alive!
“In viewing the research of who reads the two publications, and after hearing from the local advertising community, it became more and more obvious that one publication would better serve our readers and advertisers,” wrote Michael Fiorile, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Dispatch Printing Co in a statement on The Other Paper’s website.
The Other Paper’s last issue will be January 31st.
