Authorities near Dayton say they do not think drugs or alcohol played a role in a weekend crash that killed three high school students and injured three others.

Family members of the Bellbrook High School students say the teens were coming back from picking up one of their classmates from a party early Sunday. Shortly afterward, the truck left the road and crashed into a tree, killing 14-year old Julianna Hawk, 17-year-old Sophie Kerrigan and 16-year-old Skylar Kooken.

Three other students were seriously injured in the crash.
