Former Hilliard School Teacher On Boy Scouts’ “Perversion Files”

23 Central Ohioans are among the names of about 5,000 former Boy Scouts of America volunteers expelled from the organization for alleged sexual abuse during the past seven decades.

Records say Michael Shriver Highman, an Eagle Scout, was banished from the organization in 1984 for four separate occasions of alleged sexual misconduct, including fondling a Scout at a state park. 25 years later, Highman was teaching and coaching at Hilliard Weaver Middle school when investigators found child pornographic pictures in his home.

Ohio Meningitis Cases Rise To Nine

The Ohio Department of Health says the number of meningitis cases linked to recalled steroid injections has risen to nine in the state.
