Husted Orders Uniform Early Voting For All Counties
All Ohio counties will have the same hours for early voting.
Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted Wednesday afternoon decided to order uniform hours for all counties during the early voting period.
Controversy erupted last week when it became know that some counties that tend to vote Republican would allow evening and Saturday  in-person early voting, while boards of elections in Democratic leaning counties would limit early voting to business hours on weekdays.
Husted said he is “leveling the playing field on voting days and hours during the absentee voting period in each of the 88 counties.â€
He notes voters can still cast an absentee ballot by mail and will have 13 hours to vote on election day.
