Drug Sting Brings 47 Indictments

Authorities investigating an alleged prescription drug trafficking operation in central Ohio and an alleged cocaine ring in northwest Ohio have started arresting dozens of people indicted in the cases.

Columbus police and Franklin County authorities say 47 people have been indicted in an investigation into prescription pill trafficking. Authorities say the suspected ringleaders are among more than 30 who have been arrested.
