“Clean Energy” Drive Not Getting Full Support of Activists, Unions

Earlier this year, word leaked out about a petition drive, aimed at putting a proposal onto the Ohio ballot that would have the state borrow $13 billion over a decade and pump the money into green energy projects and businesses.

Information about the group behind the campaign was limited, and when environmental activists came out against the proposal, it was hard to figure out who was for it.

Now, statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has found one labor union local that’s backing the drive, but it’s parent union is staying out of it. Click the play button above to hear a full report.
