A former southwest Ohio lawmaker accused of misleading investors about a company’s financial status and using their money for personal gain is set to go on trial March 23.

ONN, Ohio’s 24-hour cable news network will cease operations at the end of August.Â Â Â ONN is owned by The Dispatch Printing Company which owns the Columbus Dispatch and WBNS-TV.Â ONN shares production facilities with WBNS.
The company released a statement on the ONN website:
“We launched our 24 hour statewide network in 1997 and have focused on bringing viewers coverage of Ohio news, weather, sports and politics in the most professional manner possible. Changing news consumer habits is the primary contributor to us making this most difficult decision. We thank viewers for the support of ONN over the past 15 years.”
There is no word on how many ONN employees could lose their jobs as as result of the decision.
