A trial date is set for the teenager accused of killing three students inside northeast Ohio’s Chardon High School earlier this year.

The trial for 17-year-old T.J. Lane is scheduled Aug. 14 in Geauga County. He’s pleaded not guilty and is being tried as an adult on charges of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder and felonious assault.

Police say he has admitted to the shootings and was wearing a shirt emblazoned with the word “killer” when he was arrested.
