Veteran journalist Carl Hoffman believes he’s solved one of the great mysteries of the 20th century. In 1961 at the age of 23, Michael Rockefeller – son of New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller and a member of one of the richest and most powerful families in America ¬– travelled to remote New Guinea in search of primitive art for his father’s new museum.
Authorities Working To Identify Fire Victim
Authorities are still working to identify the man killed in an apartment complex fire in Columbus’ Linden neighborhood on Sunday.
Columbus Fire Batallion Chief Michael Fowler says the investigation is ongoing, but the man is thought to be a resident of the building that sits at the corner of Cleveland Ave. and Oakland Park Ave.
“The fire was believed to have started in a bedroom of one of the apartments, apartment 8A. But the victim was found in a hallway outside of the apartment,” Fowler says.
Fowler says most of the 75 people displaced by the fire stayed in a nearby hotel last night.
