A new poll gives Dem. Sherrod Brown an edge over Rep. Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel in the race for the U.S. Senate.

The survey from Quinnipiac University gives the incumbent Brown a 46-to-40 edge over Mandel. The poll is the first showing the contest has narrowed to within single digits.

The same polls gives President Obama a 45-to-44 percent over Republican challenger mitt Romney, but that lead is within the poll’s margin of error.

The poll says the gender gap remains substantial, within female voters backing both Democrats and male voters supporting the Republicans.

Obviously, Progressives have to do more to draw attention to the abysmal record, short as it is, of Josh Mandel.

I cannot imagine that anyone who knows the difference between the two in Ohio can possibly elevate Mandel to the Senate. He is incapable, calculating, and dishonest and the people of Ohio know all about this So, I don’t know who the polls interview.
Sherrod Brown is the candidate of the people who know and care about their government, so the People need to make their case for Sherrod Brown returning 6 more years to the Senate. Maybe in 6 years Mandel be old and wise enough to understand why it is that he can’t possibly qualify for public office.
