Ohio spends millions of dollars each year to attract visitors to its amusement parks, beaches, and historical sites. And, this year, travelers can also take advantage of a series radio reports. Its called the New Ohio Guide. Sandra Sleight Brennan is senior editor for the radio road trip. she reports the 22 week series is an update of similar project completed during the 1930s.
The Ohio Humanities Council has given the first Ohio Guide a 21st century spin with the New Ohio Guide. Some of the tours air weekly on 89.7 WOSU on Mondays and Saturdays. No GPS needed!
