OSU Doctoral Student Helps Haiti through Business

Ohio State doctoral candidate Chris Sutter recently returned from Haiti where he hoped to help people set up businesses. Sutter has traveled to many developing countries in an effort to alleviate poverty. He spent a week outside the capital of the tiny island nation that was devastated by an earthquake ten months ago and is now grappling with an outbreak of cholera. In a conversation with WOSU’s Marilyn Smith, Sutter compared the poorest country in the Western hemisphere to South Asia.
