Longtime Ohio Lawmakers Talk Dealing With State Budget Deficit

The candidates for governor and most of those running for legislative office aren’t talking much about the upcoming budget deficit – estimated as high as $8 billion. But there are some ideas being brought up as ways to plug the budget hole without draconian cuts or big jumps in taxes. Statehouse correspondent Karen Kasler talked to two longtime lawmakers on opposites sides of the political aisle who agree on some proposals – and hotly disagree on others.
