The first graduating class at Columbus’ Metro High School will take to the stage tomorrow at COSI to receive their diplomas. The school was started four years ago as a STEM school; one that emphasizes science, technology, engineering and math. Oliver Knoell is one of the graduates who’ll be honored tomorrow.
The effort to move the Columbus casino from the Arena District to the city’s west side proved expensive.
Ohio’s two U-S senators split their votes on a proposed measure to limit the authority of the Environmental Protection Agency. Republican George Voinovich voted in favor of a resolution to prevent the federal agency from imposing greenhouse gas rules on states without congressional approval. Democrat Sherrod Brown voted to keep the EPA’s authority in tact.
