National surveys show consumers’ mood is brightening, and it’s not just holiday cheer. The more positive outlook has a lot to do with the steep drop in gasoline prices since last summer. 2015 holds the promise of more price relief not only at the gas pump but also at grocery stores.

Over the past 3 years, thousands of so-called “skill games” have popped up across Ohio at arcades, convenience stores, and even gas stations. The games reward players who can use buttons or joysticks to manipulate figures on a video screen. The Ohio Supreme Court is now deliberating in a case involving these skill games.
Columbus Police Chief Walter Distelzweig got the go ahead Thursday to implement his restructuring plan that involves 900 officers.
The Ohio Democratic party has posted a video on its website that shows Republican Gubernatorial candidate John Kasich talking about how he was one of two people who worked out of a Columbus based office for Lehman Brothers during the last few years of the company’s existence. But that spot also shows clips of Kasich on major news shows describing his role at the company as someone who was key in making major decisions.
