After 50 years, a former public housing complex on Columbus’s near East side is closer to being demolished. Poindexter Tower is empty and in horrendous but Columbus and Franklin County officials are taking steps to get the complex razed.

Ohio Treasurer Kevin Boyce has decided to let a bank that’s facing fraud allegations in California hold billions of dollars from three Ohio pension funds……and now it’s become a big issue for the Republican who’s trying to take Boyce’s job away from him in the November election.
