Bus Accident Kills Kindergarten Student
An eastern Ohio kindergarten student was killed this morning in a school bus accident.
The Ohio Highway patrol says 6-year-old Kasey King of Frazyburg was killed after the bus flipped over as it traveled on route 60 in Muskingum county.
Officials say the bus was carrying students from the Tri-Valled Local school district to Nashport Elementary – about 45 miles east of Columbus. Six other students suffered minor or moderate injuries.
The driver Carol Oler, 47, of Dresden was seriously hurt and taken by helicopter to grant medical center in Columbus.
